Maui Adult Day Care Centers & Maui County Office on Aging invite you to a FREE caregiver workshop "Brain Injuries, Strokes & Spinal Cord Injuries: What Everyone Needs to Know" Violet E. Horvath, Ph.D., Director Pacific Disabilities Center (PDC), John A. Burns School of Medicine University of Hawaii at Manoa will present regarding brain injuries that can cause dementia and/or death...causes, signs and symptoms, who is most at risk, tips for prevention & what is the Hawaii Neurotrauma Registry Project.
The workshop is FREE and open to the public. No reservations are needed to attend and certificates of attendance will be available.
